About

My name is Mike. I am in my mid-thirties and have just recently realized that I do not have enough personal freedom. This blog is dedicated to achieving personal freedom; particularly, my personal quest for personal freedom. I believe that financial freedom is a foundation of personal freedom but the foundation does not the entire structure make. Physical and mental freedom are needed for the full effect.

I focus on achieving financial freedom through investing. I believe in making money and making money work for you. Perhaps unusually, I believe that without financial freedom it is very difficult to be truly free. As a person’s financial condition improves, he or she should be able to pursue the physical and mental aspects of personal freedom more effectively. As I learn and progress in my own pursuit of personal freedom, as ideas crystallize in my mind and become useful and actionable tools, I will document them on this blog and share them with you.

UPDATE: Recently, I started an investment firm, Freedom Capital, to help friends and family invest their money. Now, the firm is open to other smart investors.

  1. Very nice looking website.

Just enough discussion to lead you to want to read the rest of the article.

Archives are helpful for we who visit less frequently.

The name of the site is enticing to those of us who are motivated by such a prospect of freedom.

A larger font size might be nice.

A call to action (a small tasteful ad) might help people see what level of services are available through you.

A stock tip of the month or an observation about a favorable sector or other tidbit could be a sweetener.

Overall, a good effort and intention. Lots of wishes for future success. No doubt in my mind that we’ll see it, Mike! Bill

    • Bill, thank you for your suggestions. The text body font size is difficult to change without modifying how the whole website looks; however, if you hit “CTRL” and “+” buttons at the same time once or twice, you can zoom into the page. I will certainly take into account your other suggestions as well.

UPDATE: I managed to increase the text size!
